The budding entrepreneur boldly raised the shutters to his 150 seat South Indian restaurant on August 22, 1986. His keen eye for detail and dedicated discipline rubbed off on the establishment, making it a trusted household name for locals and tourists alike.
Fast forward 11 years. In 1997, Navtara restaurant was renovated as a Multi Cuisine Vegetarian restaurants in Goa, revamping and expanding its menu to offer Punjabi, Mughlai, Goan, Chinese, North and South Indian fare to its patrons. This remains the present model, replicated in our expansion starting with our Mapusa restaurant in 2005 and the many more that have followed across the state of Goa.
From the outset, team of Navtara restaurant has worked relentlessly towards providing hygienic, authentic and well-priced vegetarian food in a welcoming and comforting family atmosphere. In doing so, we also acknowledge our responsibility to foster economic development and create employment opportunities wherever we mark our presence.
